Motor Bike Lovers Forum Rules

Welcome to Motorbikelovers, the community forum for motorcyclists and bike lovers.
The Rules detailed below apply to all areas of the Motorbikelovers forums & likewise, apply to all Forum members, staff included.

However, the administrator reserves the right to modify and change the rules as
and when they so choose.

    General Forum Rules

1. ALL POSTINGS IN ENGLISH.....NO EXCEPTIONS!

2. Discussion & Debate is welcome, however we will not tolerate insults, rudeness, personal attacks or inflammatory posting.

3. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts, or similar. Ensure your post (& title) is detailed enough to ensure other forum users can understand it (See 10). All posts breaking these rules will be removed without prior notice.

4. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. Do not make multiple threads for the same topic if a previous thread can be continued.

5. Advertising, links to pyramid or similar referral schemes and spamming are not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private Message system to spam other members.

6. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Multiple accounts will be removed without prior notice.

7. We reserve the right to remove, or edit, offensive, pointless or inappropriate posts without notice.

8. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules.

9. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

10. Bumping of a thread should be kept to a minimum from forum Members, there is no need to bump a thread within an hour or two of it being posted, please give forum users time to respond to your thread/post. Excessive 'bumps' will be removed without notice

11. Please make thread titles informative, so that any topic can be searched for more easily using the SEARCH function. Thread titles like 'Help' or 'What do you think of this' do not help other members when searching for a subject in the future. Just add something like 'Help - Decision on new paint' or ‘Advice needed - Knocking from front forks'. It doesn't take a lot of time just to be informative in your thread descriptions.

12. Text Talk is one of the pet hates on most forums. Any posts made up of mainly TXT TLK or CAPITALS, or BOLD will be removed.
Example: 'HW R U 2DAY? UR BIKE IS LUKIN SOUND GEEZER'. Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.

Members who persistently break the rules will be subject to a suspension or ban.

1. A 48 hour suspension will be given to users who continually post rubbish, break the rules or who are generally disruptive.

2.If after 48 hours, the user continues to be still breaking the rules etc, a 7 day suspension will be given.

3. If after we have given you 2 chances to 'play ball', you will be subject to a ban

Thank you for reading the

Advertising will be available on the site soon, so just a reminder that if you
know of any companies that feel they may benefit from the advertising -
bike related or not - then please let them know and I will be more
than happy to discuss.

Cheers
